Thank you to Beryl Moss who came in to our assembly yesterday with her guide dog, Hobbs. This follows an initiative by Henry in Year Four, who wanted to help support the guide dog association by raising money. The school has a guide dog collection box which is emptied periodically and we have recently collected about £32. The children were fascinated by Hobbs, who loved the attention, and Beryl explained some of the difficulties that blind people have and how useful their guide dogs are. Evie in Year Four has also raised over £100 for the guide dogs. Saturday, 12 July 2014
