After gaining our Bronze Eco-Schools Award in the Spring term, we have been successful in applying for the Silver Eco-Schools Award. This follows the further development of the outside spaces, our monitoring of energy use within the school and an increase in our commitment to recycle and reduce waste, which has been supported by the PTA, who organised the Bag2School project. The Eco Action Group have also been busy applying for a Cheshire Wildlfe Trust Award which we hope to receive soon. Well done to everyone on the Action Group who has worked so hard to achieve this stage (particularly Henry, Ben and Iona) and to everyone else in the school community for supporting us.

It is great to see the commitment to encourage the school to become more aware of green issues and to get the children so involved in looking after their environment. Thank you for all your efforts.
