Year Three and Four children enjoyed a three day visit to Castleton in Derbyshire. They stayed at the Youth Hostel and explored Peveril Castle, Treak Cliff Cavern, as well as doing LOTS of walking and other activities. It was a fantastic experience for everyone - children and staff and we were lucky enough to also enjoy amazingly good weather. The photograph shown is a view taken in the Hope Valley as we walked towards Mam Tor. Thank you to all the parents who lent their children to us for the trip! They were fantastically good company and definitely made the most of it.Friday, 24 July 2009
