Aztecs

Children in Years Three and Four studied the Aztecs. This display shows some of the artwork created by Year Four. They looked at Aztec art and created their own 'sculptural pictures' using animals as a base, as the Aztecs often did. They used paper towel and PVA glue to create outlines, then painted their picture with black or gold. On the raised outlines, they dry-brushed paint to make it stand out.
