Science Week
The children have had an amazing mix of fantastic opportunities this week to get involved in scientific enquiry, discussion and generally gain an understanding of just how much science is all around us. A very big thank you to Mrs Welsh and Mrs Tench, who as part of our application for the Science Award, have been really dedicated to the organisation of the week. We very much appreciate the time and effort they have put in.

Art Day
The school hosted an Art Day on Saturday, inviting children from other primary schools to join us for the day. Children from Tarvin and Delamere attended and were fantastic representatives of their schools. The theme of the day was a 3D focus on making 'nature boxes' and all the children worked really hard, with great concentration, to achieve some really good results.Red Nose Day

Big Bang
Everyone had a really enjoyable day today, as all children from Years One to Six travelled to the NEC at Birmingham to visit the 'Big Bang' science exhibition. From the science shows to the activities which children could get involved in, there was a huge variety of things for them to do and to see. Thank you to all our parent helpers and staff, who took such good care of the children during the day and to Mrs Welsh and Mrs Tench, who organised the trip. Thank you also to all those parents who got their children up early and got them to school on time to leave together!Friday, 6 March 2015
Cross country
Well done to those children in Years Four, Five and Six, who took part in the cross country event at Tarporley High School yesterday afternoon. They all did well but especially Katie!
